Skyes made whole process easy from the straightforward booking, friendly customer service and answering efficiently the queries I raised.. The Milking Parlour accommodation ticked all the boxes for our Xmas getaway - spacious ,great facilities for cooking on the big day, log burner, peaceful setting, close to nearby places of interest as well as country walks and great food in local pubs. Loved the games room and super comfy sofas and beds. The owners welcomed us and then left us to it but were contactable should we have needed anything( which we didn't as everything is well maintained and organised). They also provided a generous welcome pack, bottle of chilled wine and fresh flowers. The apple orchard provided mistletoe and holly to add to the decorations and Xmas spirit!

A really lovely place to stay.. The owners were very welcoming, leaving some goodies for our arrival which were most appreciated. The Milking Parlour is in a great location and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The games room was a big hit with our 7 year old and we all had fun with the table tennis. It's only short walk to the Ring O'Bells pub (make sure you're hungry as portions are very generous!). Can recommend Puxton Park near Weston for those with children - a great day out.

We loved the cottage and the superb garden.. The photos do not do the layout or situation justice. Everything was comfortable, clean with well equipped kitchen and large sunny lounge. A larger double bed would have added to the luxury. The owners were really friendly and local pubs welcoming with nice menus and the location was perfect for Wells, Glastonbury and the RSPB reserves in the area.

Met by owners and made feel very welcome.. Cottage was nice and clean, well equipped, warm and cosy. Location was in the middle of nowhere and was very quiet and peaceful, sat out most evenings with a glass of wine listening to the owls. Perfect location for visiting Bath, Wells and the caves at Wookey and Cheddar. Only little problem was because of location Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Would fully recommend for a quiet retreat and escape from everything else.
