Within easy driving distance are the famous Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty popular with walkers and nature lovers. A little further afield you can explore the spectacular Exmoor National Park. You could visit popular seaside towns including Brean and Burnham on Sea, famous for their excellent sandy beaches. Among the many attractions nearby are Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor, Somerwest World and the Clarks Village shopping outlet. You could also visit some of the popular towns and cities nearby including Glastonbury, Wells, Bridgwater and Weston Super Mare. Bridgewater carnival in November is located only 15 minutes away which the jubilee cart will be presented and makes their way around the towns in the South West, It is the biggest carnival in the UK. On entering this beautiful and traditional property, which forms a wing of a fantastic farmhouse, you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which retains many original features including exposed beams and stonework and a feature fireplace. You will find the welcoming and tastefully furnished lounge is an ideal space to unwind, with TV, DVD and a traditional wood burner. You will find a charming dining area. Heading over to the stylishly designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast bar. Exploring this delightful property further you will find a lovely south facing conservatory/breakfast room which overlooks the garden, with a hi fi and a selection of indoor toys. Going up the steep cottage style stairs there are two bedrooms on the first floor. There s a king sized bed in the master bedroom and one comfy twin room. There is also a bathroom complete with bath, separate shower and WC. Stepping outside, you can relax in the large enclosed garden with patio, BBQ and garden furniture. There are plenty of play facilities for children including a wooden play fort with climbing frame, swings, slide and lots of small toys. You are also welcome to visit the farm and help feed the chickens, collect the eggs, meet the owners pets and see the animals in the pets corner. Lambing season takes place from March to the end of April, so in the spring season you can also help with the orphan lambs.
