The bedrooms consist of a double and twin room, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a lawned garden with patio area, furniture and a barbecue. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet is welcome, but smoking is not permitted. For a charming cottage in North Yorkshire, escape to The Cottage. Note: Several steps lead from the back door to the garden. Note: Because this cottage is adjacent to a main road, children and pets must be supervised, and there may be some traffic noise.

Area
With its cobblestone streets and back lanes, the picturesque and peaceful seaside village of Staithes is somewhat of an artist's dream. Its charming buildings and cottages are grouped around the historic harbour, which is flanked on three sides by high jagged cliffs, with a secluded sandy beach nestled among the rocky shoreline. Captain Cook, who was apprenticed to a draper near the waterfront, has ties to the community. Staithes is now a must-see for anybody visiting the Yorkshire Coast, with a diverse range of pubs, shops, and tea places. Staithes still has an RNLI lifeboat station, as well as a small fleet of cobles (fishing boats) that land fish, crab, and lobster, as well as boat trips for birdwatching, fishing, and even whale watching.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
