A charming market town just south of the North York Moors. Kirkbymoorside boasts a range of shops, tea rooms, pubs and antique shop. The surrounding area offers many scenic walking and cycling opportunities. Nearby popular towns and villages include Pickering with the North York Moors Steam Railway, Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham. Regular tourist destinations within reach are York and Whitby.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
