La Beccaccia San Miniato, Tuscany

I can recommend this house to everyone. A fantastic location, good and nice contact with the owners and well equipped with facilities. The only thing I can comment on behalf of our group is that, if you go with multiple kids who are on the wifi at a certain time, the wifi does not really handle this well. A better router would be desirable for this. Also nice: we understood before we went that a charging point for cars will be installed this summer

We were there in mid-March. The heating costs were high because the rooms in the basement were very cold and the heating was constantly on. The kitchen is well equipped. The coffee machine is designed for 2 people. There is also a larger pot and a filter attachment, but you should bring a thermos flask with you. There is no kettle. Towels, bed linen and soap are provided. If you don't like hard pillows, it's better to pack your own. Otherwise everything is great.

All in all a good accommodation, beautiful garden.. well-kept house.. very friendly and helpful hosts! To complain about the cleanliness, dishes from previous guests were also forgotten in the oven ... We chose this accommodation because it has a swimming pool ... however, it was not indicated on the site that it would not be possible to use it ...

The Pluses: - the warm welcome from the owners with welcome gifts - the kitchen equipment - the interior structure of the house (bedrooms on the lower and upper floors/large living room on the ground floor) - the tranquillity, the landscape and the garden (the arbor) Cons: - the aging garden furniture - the poor quality bedding - the size of the swimming pool.

In general we were very satisfied.

Beautiful holiday home with a view. Not an old house, but made somewhat old by the furnishings. Completely fenced property, ideal for the dog. Good walking possibilities directly from the house. However, I would not recommend the house for 10 or even 12 people, a maximum of 6-8 people would be ideal. The living area is dominated by the large dining table for 12 people, which makes the room rather uncomfortable to linger in when the weather is bad. Quite a lot of bugs and ants in the house....

The surroundings of San Miniator are very nice, the high location of the holiday home was also good, the garden and pool are well-kept. The equipment in the house is sufficient for 6-7 people. Some of the equipment in the house needed updating and refurbishment. Otherwise it was a very pleasant holiday.

We booked the house as a group of 7 friends (25-35 years old) and really enjoyed the stay. The landlords speak good English and are extremely friendly and personable. The house would be too small for 12 adults, and the kitchen in particular offers a bit too little work space. However, it was perfect for our group size. Also 6 adults and 6 children could work well. The fantastic outdoor area deserves special mention. Simply fantastic!

Great house, lovingly furnished, very clean. First-class care with welcome and farewell gifts. Sparkling wine provided on the terrace in the morning for a birthday. (Very attentive). Best house so far in Tuscany. (It is our sixth house). We were 6 adults and 2 children. Greetings to the landlords with their children.

Very nice large property, with many individual retreats. The pool is sufficient and also the associated sun protection to relax. The house is very lovingly furnished in every detail. Also in terms of cleanliness there was nothing to complain about. The landlords are very hospitable and nice. All in all it exceeded our expectations. We felt very comfortable.

We were a group of 4 adults and 5 children. The house includes everything you need for a great vacation. There are enough beds and bathrooms. Everything is clean and well maintained. The only things you should bring are towels for the sun loungers and INSECT SPRAY for before and after care.

The landlords are very nice and friendly, they speak very good English. Surprisingly, we were welcomed with drinks and a small snack and our own olive oil on arrival, and on departure we were presented with a basket of Tuscan sausage specialties. In between they brought us a cake. We have never experienced such generosity anywhere. The house is beautifully situated on a ridge, away from the village. That's why you shouldn't forget anything when shopping. There were beautiful walks with the dog through fields, vineyards and olive groves possible. The garden including pool and large covered patio / dining area is very nice. From the garden you have a beautiful view of San Miniato and the surrounding hills and mountains. Fresh herbs (basil, sage, thyme and rosemary) for cooking were readily available in and around the house. A very nice detail. We spent a very nice time in "La Beccaccia" and can definitely recommend the house!!!!
