Hi, 16 of us stayed there and we were very happy with our house, it had a bit of history, the rooms were clean and the kitchen was functional, but without a car we wouldn't have been able to make it to the shops so it was essential at least for such a large group!!, and a little more information and recommendations for nearby restaurants would have been needed, but all the passengers give it a 9/10 rating so thank you!!

A hit! When 16 people are to live under the same roof for ten days, each household needs its own room. The dinner in the dark to the glow of romantic lamps by the pergola was a highlight, as was the pool which invited pleasant togetherness across the generations. Pizza and fresh bread were within walking distance. Easy to have access to a car considering the airport trips and grocery shopping. The proximity to the train station meant that we could easily visit both Pisa and Florence. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were much better than expected and the pool was very well maintained. The hosts behaved more like family members and you always felt very welcome. Everything was perfect and we will certainly come back if the opportunity arises.

We were 10 adults and 3 children aged 10 months - 3 years. Good house, well equipped kitchen. However, it lacked a microwave oven. Would have been good with 1 more toilet on the lower floor. The beds lacked mattress pads = hard. Enclosed yard which was lucky as the traffic outside was fast despite the 30 sign. Nice pool area with shower. The old nice part of San Miniato itself was quite a distance from the house, not possible to walk to. 1.5 km to the nearest grocery store. Would be ok with a walk but not because of the traffic. We are still very satisfied.

The relationship with the owner was tarnished due to a disagreement because of the noise. Communication was not possible. In addition, we were charged 80e for a few broken glasses and an unscrewed heating button. Too bad because the reception at the start was very pleasant, even friendly. Nevertheless, I recommend this authentic and very well located house.
