We had booked a ground floor apartment, the living room of which, according to the photo, had a window behind the corner seat. In fact, the room was in the basement. There was a skylight above the seating area so that the residents of the apartments above could see in. For the promising landlord and Interchalet we were the only guests who would complain about it. The caretaker was angry with us after our complaint. Since he only speaks Italian, he suddenly storms into the apartment to pantomime his concerns. Amenities poor: drinking glasses, cooking pot, bowl were not available upon arrival, no working wifi, no hot water one evening. Only after further enquiry, Interchalet admitted that the apartment was indeed misadvertised and refunded us 20%. I had to ask twice for the review link and it was only after that that I was told the link would be sent to us in a week. This delaying tactic minimizes the number of bad reviews. Interchalet also reserves the right to withhold bad reviews until the matter has been clarified. This also demotivates me to write a review at all.
