This traditional cottage in the quiet village of Staithes is perfect for a seaside getaway. After a busy day fossil hunting and rock pooling at the nearby harbour beach, you can head home to relax in the open-plan living area or enjoy a sociable meal at the dining table. The top floor boasts sea views from the skylights, but with steep stairs to climb, this cottage may not suit everyone. Location-wise, you’re on the North Yorkshire coast – sandwiched between popular Whitby and Saltburn-by-the-Sea – which can both be reached within half an hour.

*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*While a car isn’t essential, we recommend hiring one to explore the surrounding areas. Your host can provide a permit for one car to park at a nearby car park, subject to availability.
