Fantastic location and a beautiful house with every comfort. Quiet because it's a bit remote: Lucca is close by, but if you want to explore Tuscany's tourist highlights, a more central location might be more convenient, as it's located in the very north of Tuscany. But even here, there are charming, lesser-known villages definitely worth a visit. The owner was friendly and helpful. In short: highly recommended, we had a wonderful holiday!

Great house in a stunning setting and very friendly hosts. If you like privacy and can handle the occasional Wi-Fi outage, this is the place for you. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the access road. There is only a steep, gravelled mountain track for the last 500 m to the property. The access road up the mountain is also full of steep sections and bends. It takes 20 minutes to go shopping, about 1 hour to Lucca and 2 hours to Florence. But the property, the view, the pool and the hosts are worth it. I would gladly go back.

The house is beautifully furnished in a rustic style and offers a magnificent view of the Tuscan mountains. The accommodation is located high on a mountain and although it is a bit difficult to reach as the roads are quite narrow, steep and winding, it was quite easy to do even with a large van. There were 10 of us in the property with a group of friends and the space was more than adequate. It was a dream vacation, gladly again!

Beautiful property to relax in, there are fresh fruit and vegetables from our own cultivation almost every day. Only the terrace by the pool could use some sanding. Walking barefoot here is not recommended.

We were very kindly received by Richard on the day of arrival and gave an extensive tour. It was immediately apparent that everything was in order down to the last detail. Swimming pool is very well maintained with good sun beds. Garden is beautiful with a beautiful vegetable garden where you can eat vegetables if you want. Was a very nice week! Thanks R. and V.

We rented both cottages for our summer vacation with friends. Nothing was missing, especially the house Il Boschetto, newly built in 2019, was very well equipped. The pool is large and the views across the valley to Gallicano/Barga are superb. There are a total of 3 approaches to the house. During the holiday we first had to test which is the best for the respective car. Small cars with a short wheelbase and high ground clearance are best suited.

The house was just perfect. We were here as a family and thus had the whole house (one residential unit each) to ourselves. Although we have traveled so often to the most beautiful places, we simply found Le Bore the best because everything was really right! Location: beautiful and very quiet Facilities: everything was there that you needed (incl. dishwasher and coffee machine) Landlord: incredibly nice and very helpful! Thanks to the landlords...
