Altana (CNG176) Apartment 2 Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Tuscany

Negative: Accommodation only superficially clean / Equipment in terms of quality and quantity (kitchen utensils, garden furniture, parasol, beds, chairs etc.) very poor / We bought coat hangers because there were too few and some of them were dirty / Lighting too little and too dim / Kitchen-living room not comfortable / WiFi extremely weak Positive: Landlord responded quickly and reliably when contacted. Washing machine could be used. Great view from the garden /

We stayed in the apartment for a week and it was very clean and well maintained. As previously written, a few plates, cups, etc. would be great, but that's the way to live. Nice contact and great pizza on Saturday. Can only be recommended. The area is also very nice, not far from the sea (about 60km), great hiking trails, castles, caves etc - something for everyone. Great holiday and maybe we'll see each other again.

Everything went perfectly, wonderful accommodation, very clean and comfortable, nice and welcoming. The host proved to be caring enough and an unparalleled kindness. The places of Garfagnana as always spectacular and of intimate beauty. The mountains are equally wonderful and very flowery. A great holiday, shame about its brevity ...

Very clean, spacious apartment with upper and lower entrance. Well maintained facility, yet very close to nature. For 2 people crockery ok, otherwise a bit tight. Cheese grater (Italy!), cutting board, a cheap juicer, corkscrew would be good. Driveway as described very rough and narrow with a crest. Small supermarket 1.4 km walk. Pool in a panoramic position. View also of the surrounding hamlets. Summit from left to Pania Secca via Uomo Morto to Pania della Croce to M. Pisantino.
