Vittorio Scansano, Tuscany

Nice little holiday apartment in a typical Tuscan village. V. is a super friendly and attentive host who sent us lots of tips for excursions in the Grosseto area and everything else we needed for our physical well-being before we arrived. The rooms are a bit small, but everything you need for a week or two's holiday is there.

We are very pleased with the stay. Beautiful, atmospheric apartment in Italian style. Very comfortable, equipped with everything tourists need. Very nice owners, very hospitable. Very large, beautiful garden with a terrace only for your own use. Apartment in a small, historical town of about 900 years. Close to restaurants, shops. Not far from the sea and a wide beach. Charming area, beautiful Tuscan landscapes.

Quiet typical village house, well equipped, large fenced espalier plot with terrace. Owner approachable and friendly. But watch out for mosquitoes.

We stayed here with our 2 children 12 and 11. The accommodation is small but very well kept/clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need (just take a chopping board with you if you want to cook more often). Vittorio speaks good English and gives you lots of good advice on where to eat and what to do. The only drawback is that the beautiful garden has no direct access through the house and can only be reached via a steep path.

The landlord was very friendly and the kitchen was well equipped, nothing was missing. The location was between the bathing beach and the thermal springs of Saturnia, so that both could be reached every day, which was very important to us. The apartment stayed cool even on hot days.

Even in the very hot summer days, we felt very comfortable in the accommodation with the huge and beautiful garden (especially our dog). Everything is clean and the house owner was very nice, courteous and helped immediately when there were minor problems. The village is very small with narrow streets and alleys, just like you imagine an Italian village. The residents were also very friendly.
