As others have already written, the owners are very nice, speak perfect English, and were always quick to help when needed. Unfortunately, the driveway is very narrow, and the trees and bushes could have been trimmed back a bit. A few scratches in our car's paintwork were inevitable. The path to the pool could also be wider, so trimming the bushes could have helped here, too. The pool area, including the pool steps, is very small.

A thoroughly enjoyable vacation (including with two teenagers in tow). After several years of package holidays, we decided to take a self-guided vacation again, and the house, the pool with lounge area, the view from the terrace, the surroundings, and especially the extremely friendly, personable, accommodating, and yet unobtrusive hosts made our vacation a special experience (including the journey there. Be sure to follow the landlord's tip for the last few kilometers). TOP!

We thoroughly enjoyed this week! The very friendly hosts, who spoke perfect English, made communication very easy for us, given our lack of Italian. The beautiful house, with a huge terrace surrounded by olive and cypress trees, offers a view over the Tuscan hills and olive trees all the way to Florence. The amenities are excellent; we didn't miss a thing. The pool completed the picture. Conclusion: we would gladly return anytime, highly recommended! Grazie

Hello, we are a family of four and had a lovely holiday in the house in October 2024. The view is magnificent and the landlords are also super friendly. Everything was lovely and very clean. We felt comfortable.

Good holiday home, good location, beautiful scenery, a bit difficult to find. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Due to the cold and damp weather, the air in the downstairs bedroom of the house was damp. Good and easy connections to nearby villages and towns, Florence 20 min. drive. Car essential. Kitchen - etc. equipment sufficient.

Very good location and good transport links (motorway, Fl-Pi-Li and Florence-Siena). Very clean accommodation and friendly/helpful landlords. Quiet location with a view.

Great accommodation in a beautiful location with a view over Tuscany and Florence. We were there with our children and an absolute plus was the pool, which was used a lot in the hot temperatures in August, and the beautiful, large terraces. The landlords are incredibly nice and speak perfect English. The access consists of small, narrow streets; the car shouldn't be much bigger than an Alhambra. Bring mosquito spray, but all windows/doors have mosquito screens.

We had a great time at this amazing house! The hosts are very friendly and welcomed us with some homemade olive oil and wine. The view from the terrace is stunning. We had a very relaxing week in the beautiful house with an amazing view. Outside you have the choice between the huge, sunny terrace and a pretty garden with olive trees. We would like to mention the good quality of the mattress. This is of course a matter of taste, but we slept exceptionally well. And something special is also the care provided by the landlords, who are there to help you when needed, but otherwise always protect your privacy.

It was a very nice holiday in an incredible setting. The owners, a warm, lively couple, were always at our side. We felt very like family. We enjoyed the 180 m2 terrace, a dream, every day. Everything was perfect, we as a family, but also the environment and weather and everything that can be seen there, especially Florence... Recommend to everyone. But also San Gimignano, Siena..

The landlords, the house and the surrounding area have also contributed greatly to this. We didn't arrive until Saturday night due to traffic jams, but it wasn't a problem at all. The driveway is narrow but doable with a normal car. The landlords greeted us with a basket full of groceries as a welcome gift. The landlords were very hospitable and were always available with advice and action. The house has everything you need. Their own olive oil tastes great. The swimming pool is huge

We stayed for two weeks at Poggio de 'Galli, spending a wonderful holiday. It is the ideal place to relax in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The holiday home is in an excellent location with a view of Florence. The facility and maintenance of the entire complex including the pool are excellent. This house is ideally suited for a vacation for 2 couples.

Very nice and well-kept Tuscany house with a terrace all around with a fantastic view of Flozenz. We felt very comfortable. Nice and helpful landlord. We'd love to come back.

dream Location, although the last 750m have to be done on "very Italian roads" - but you get used to it. If you have a slightly wider or newer car, make sure to take the Via Sant'Isidoro from the junction in Monte Oriolo. Google Maps navigates directly and comes from the north to Via Sant'Isidoro but does not know the bottleneck from this side - maximum car width: approx too soft. A mini coffee machine for filter coffee is available. Bring salt, pepper and spices. The landlords are very, very nice and helpful - and a very good, home-made olive oil and wine can be purchased directly from them. About 50 meters from the house there is a smaller high-voltage line - you can't hear a sizzling noise - wasn't a problem for any of us. If you want to do sightseeing/guided tours in Florence - make sure to reserve 1-3 days in advance - you can also climb the cathedral...

Very nice house overlooking Florence, friendly hosts. The combination of the short way to Florence (bus connection from Galluzzo) and living in the olive grove convinced us. Gladly again! To get there, follow the directions from Interchalet and drive via Galluzzo, although at first it looks like you are driving into Florence.
