Self-Catering La Badia in Florence

We were 14 people alltogether with a couple kids. The driveway up to the property was a bit of a disaster. You would not want a lower car trying to make it up there. Once you get to the property though it is quickly forgotten about. Overall we had a fantastic holiday spending time with family and friends. It is very private and clean. Staff ,G. end E., were very helpful, friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

So far the directions were ok, but when it was the direct route to the accommodation, i.e. rather bad with a lowered vehicle, the driveway is steep and the path is more like a path.

We were a family on 14 people from 4 - 69 years old. 4 couple and kids and the house had all the rooms and space we needed. Swimming pool was also super great and clean, and during a 1 week stay there was one guy who came and cleaned it.

Beautiful spacious villa, there was a mouse inside and they charge too much for gas and electricity... So watch your consumption!

We used this house with 2 families (12 people in total) and had a great stay. The house is in a very quiet location and offers a lot of space and comfort. A bit of a shame that the deposit / cleanup must be paid in cash because this is just less practical.

We visited this beautiful area with 11 friends in the middle of august for seven nights. We loved it. The house is very big and has everything you need in a relaxed holiday. Only the "street", the last 500 meters before the house is very steep, with potholes and with a lot of stones. Your car should not be lowered. ;) The area is very secluded, so you need a car! You should eat in the restaurant "Il Caldetino", it is the best near the house.

A very beautiful house, fully equipped. The pool is clean and the garden is well-kept. Great place to spend time in silence with stalls and masses of people. Moreover, the house can be a good base for visiting Florence, Siena, Chianti and many other interesting places. A small minus is the place does not have a garbage container and we had to throw it away when going to cities or on trips. I believe the owner should provide collection baskets.
