We were sold on this home's palatial grounds overlooking the sea alone. And that was before we'd even clapped eyes on the villa's access to Capalbio Beach (a 700-metre golf buggy ride away). Perfect for a multi-generational family stay, along with the main house, there's an additional annexe and staff quarter, and the most recent addition, a 25-metre outdoor heated swimming pool. Set in an exclusive beach resort fringing a lakeside nature reserve, there's little besides the nearby beach clubs. For a little more bustle, hop in the car to explore the medieval village of Capalbio, just a few kilometres away.

*While not all the bathrooms and bedrooms are photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home. Also not photographed fully is the private 25-metre heated swimming pool, added to the home in 2021.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car, and there is parking outside of the cottage.
*This home is spread between the main house and two outbuildings, so you won't all be sleeping under one roof.
*The villa has direct access to the beach via a country road. The beach itself isn't private, but it's normally only frequented by guests staying at other homes on this resort.
