Torsoli

We stayed in this cottage without air conditioning. The road to it is in very very bad condition, this is not stated in the description of the cottage. Around the pool it is full of insects that sting you. The owners are always there and not as described occasionally. In short, in this cottage you got no air anywhere any cooling for that you had to sit outside late at night. This cottage is at Top Rated but is not worth it at all. In short, this is a pig in a poke!!!!

Location very good, pool excellent, but loads of horseflies and mosquitoes. The beds are below average, no air conditioning, no fans, only some fly screens. Few and broken dishes, very small shower cubicles. In summary: location and owners living in the house are good and nice, very nice pool and outdoor area, but furnishings are very basic and at least new beds and fans would be required. Only stayed there for 4 nights because of bad sleeping.

A small downside was that the kitchen was sparsely equipped.

The house, the pool and the entire property are very well maintained. The complex is ideal for people who love solitude and tranquility in a fantastically beautiful landscape. The decor is typically Italian rustic, but fully adequate. The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful. Knowledge of Italian is an advantage, as communication is a bit bumpy due to the lack of other foreign languages. I would rent this house again and again.

L. house, beautiful grounds and location in the mountains between Siena and Florence can't be beat. From reception to check-out, L. is the perfect hostess. Loving, helpful but also reserved, so that you can enjoy your holiday to the fullest. Very close by - in Lucolena - is an inexpensive village restaurant (Casa di popolo). There is also a small grocery store with all the necessary goods on site. Garden and pool are incredibly beautiful. Thanks!

The house is as described. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. The swimming pool and the garden are well maintained and the view of the surrounding Chianti is breathtaking. The owners are top notch. Extraordinarily kind and very helpful. They gave us lots of advice and spoiled us with fruits and vegetables from their huge vegetable garden. We had a great time there.

We spent two wonderful weeks with friends in this beautiful, lovingly built Tuscan country house. Our landlady received us very cordially and showed us in detail the apartment in the house and the local conditions. The fantastic property with a wonderful view and the large pool contributed significantly to our relaxation. Despite the quiet and lonely location, you can reach all the beautiful places in the Chianti area in a reasonable amount of time.

... just the thing if you want to relax ... away from any stress. So lovingly laid out in a beautiful landscape. The landlords are really very nice and nice people with a heart. We would very much like to come back.

Well-equipped large apartment, for a family with up to 4 children, 2 separate bathrooms. Clean large swimming pool and a well-kept yard, beautiful views, nice hosts. Possibility to make a barbecue, there were also sunbeds and air mattresses available. A wonderful place worth recommending :)

We stayed in the Torsoli apartment for two weeks. This is the smaller of the two holiday apartments, whereby the apartment is very well designed due to the room layout (each with a bathroom separate from the bedroom). The landlady was warm and tried hard for our well-being. The facility is very well maintained and can be used without restrictions. The fireplace in the garden can be used for grilling, which we used twice. We didn't need the fireplace in the house. There is delicious olive oil directly from the landlady and a house wine typical and good from friends. The pool is simply beautifully integrated in the whole. If you are looking for peace and seclusion without sacrificing comfort, this is the place for you. We can fully recommend it and would love to come back. TOP!
