The Stables, Crayke Lodge is a splendid, first floor barn conversion set in a lovely tranquil location, just two miles from the pretty market town of Easingwold and can sleep two people. This all first floor property has a super-king double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request), a bathroom, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner. Outside there is ample off road parking, bike storage and an enclosed rear patio garden with furniture. The Stables, Crayke Lodge is a lovely property and ideal for a holiday break in North Yorkshire.

All first floor. One super king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner.

Area
Easingwold is a small, historic market town situated close to the city of York. The town centre boasts a large market square surrounded by splendid Georgian buildings and there are a good selection of shops, pubs and cafes on offer. York, Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough and Yorkshire’s old famous abbey sites are all within easy reach.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Lovely accommodation but my partner struggled a bit with the stairs up to the property.. Absolutely no problems for anyone able bodied though and thus in no way spoilt our stay. Carrying our luggage up and down the stone steps was the only issue.

Very comfortable and well-appointed accommodation, perfect for a couple and well placed for York, Harrogate, Scarborough and the N Yorks Moors.. Lovely quiet location but with easy access to the small market town of Easingwold which has shops, pubs and cafes, and free parking. Clean and bright inside; the woodburner was great in the evenings - it's small, but we wouldn't have needed anything bigger; kitchen facilities clean and ample for the two of us for a week; modern bathroom all fine. Always warm but not too warm. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and spacious! Great to have covered parking for our car, especially as there was a dusting of snow one morning. Host friendly and helpful but not obtrusive; all in all we had a lovely, relaxing week. Thank you!

Wanted somewhere quiet and cozy for myself and my husband for our anniversary, this was exactly what we wanted, the food in the local villages was amazing and they where all very accommodating.. Perfect little gem of a place to explore North West Yorkshire.. Easy P&R into York, and beautiful little towns dotted all around for an explore. We visited Sutton Bank and Dalby Forest MTB parks, both awesome, though Dalby had the edge, fab place, and worth the £9 parking as we rode trails for 5hrs. Crayke easy 20mn walk, and the pub is incredible, gorgeous meal. Easingwold had numerous little pubs and could be walked in 30 mns. The lodge itself was absolutely perfect for us, will 100% return.

We had just finished teaching that day and needed some peace and quiet to unwind, and that's exactly what we got.. This superb barn conversion was well very equipped and had a huge, comfortable bed. It's location was handy for walking nearby and for getting to the coast and for York. We watched rabbits and hares visit the grass outside the barn every evening and apart from farm machines there was no noise to disturb us, a great way to start our summer holiday.

Excellently equipped accommodation in a lovely rural setting, there is so much to see in the surrounding area that you need more than a week to do it justice.. Very convenient for the sights of the city of York which can be accessed using the park-and -ride at a reasonable daily cost.

It's a lovely converted barn, beautifully appointed and we have had two very enjoyable holidays there.. The owners are lovely people and the garden and surrounding land is neat and enjoyable to sit in. The sun is on it most of the day. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to spend their evening resting with a glass of wine and listening to the birds.

On top of all these positives, there is garage space to park your car, A fantastic retreat for any couple or friends as the bed unzips to make two full sized singles. You have a view over the owners orchard and field where horses munch their way through the days. The two dogs that live at Crayke Lodge are very friendly, one was just 11 weeks old for our stay so well cute, but well behaved. A total joy.
