The village of Seahouses has plenty to offer, with sandy beaches, a vibrant harbour and a variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes, along with crazy golf and amusements, perfect for fishing, long walks and observing the local sea life. Take a boat trip to the bird sanctuary on the Farne Islands with a range of wildlife, including grey seals and puffins. From Seahouses you can take the coastal path down to the picturesque village of Bamburgh, with its magnificent castle, glorious beach and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum. You can also visit the historic Holy Island of Lindisfarne. For golfers, Seahouses golf course is a friendly place open to visitors all year round. The property is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme throughout and offers guests a warm and comfortable stay. Enter the cottage from the rear into the kitchen/diner which has seating for five. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a tasty meal, including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Head on through to the light and airy lounge with comfortable sofas and a rocking chair to relax in and enjoy a good book or watch the Smart TV with Chromecast. The wood burner adds a cosy feel to the cottage and will help you stay warm and toasty on chillier nights. Take the stairs up to the first floor to find the three tastefully decorated bedrooms, one double with an en suite WC, a king size room which overlooks the garden and has a TV/DVD and a single bedroom, each with quality bed linen ensuring a good night s rest. Two steps down from the landing is the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside, the cottage has a private garden with seating, where you can sit back and relax. There is a parking space at the rear of the property for one medium sized car.
