This cottage is so relaxing and you totally chill out, set on working farm overlooking canal. The property is brilliant and you get a home from home feel here. The bed is so comfortable you get a wonderful nights rest. The owner Jennette is lovely and welcoming and so friendly. This was our 2nd visit after being so impressed last time and this visit didnt disappoint, so much so, while on site we booked our 3rd stay for next year. Views from windows are beautiful and loved seeing the farm animals so close up.

The photos on the listing really don’t do this property justice! The cottage is so spacious, yet it feels so cosy. The views of the canal and countryside are fantastic, feels so rural yet you are either a twenty minute picturesque walk or 5 minute drive away from the shops. All areas of the cottage are extremely well equipped, a real home from home with secure walled garden to keep pets safe. They also sell their fresh eggs which were lovely!

Booking through Sykes was an efficient process and very easy.. Jess cottage was lovely, absolutely got the right balance between being practical for having dogs but still all very clean, cozy and welcoming. Views across the countryside were stunning. The location just outside Skipton was ideal for us.

This cottage was an excellent choice for us to visit the Skipton and surrounding area.. It was like a home from home with all of the comforts and more. The cottage itself was immaculate and very clean. It has two bedrooms both ensuite and all of the facilities to make our holiday very peaceful and enjoyable. The views are exceptional and we all enjoyed a relaxing time after our days out looking over the canal and on to the hills with a cosy blanket over our knees and a hot drink in our hands. There were plenty of local farm shops selling local produce and the farm itself sold fresh eggs. We would definitely recommend this cottage as a central point for anyone visiting Skipton and the surrounding area. It is ideally situated for walking, cycling and going out in the car. We had a great time.

After finding a holiday let that suits us and visiting three years running, we are very disappointed that looking forward to next year to see such a huge increase in prices.. The increase adds at least one hundred pounds per week and has made it too expensive and sadly we will have to look for an alternative.

We enjoyed our stay at Jess Cottage.. To get to the towpath we obviously had to walk through the farmyard to walk over the bridge. Just before the bridge the farm had 2 dogs chained up either side, who launched themselves at us (we also had a dog with us). The owners did reassure us that they were actually friendly, but my dog and I were definitely not comfortable with the experience each time we wanted a walk. The views were wonderful and we loved watching the barges.

This is a well equipped and comfortable cottage on a farm just outside Skipton, next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal along which there are excellent towpath walks.. It has a big view across the valley and down towards Pendle Hill. It is an excellent base from which to visit North and west Yorkshire, northeast Lancashire, and up to Westmorland. Highly recommended.

Just back from Easter weekend stay at Jess Cottage.. 4 adults and 2 dogs! Fantastic! Beautiful views, canal on the doorstep and cottage exceeded all expectations. Beds were so comfy and lovely ensuite bathrooms. Nothing too much trouble for Jeanette and her staff. Of course the wonderful sunny weather helped, sat in the garden looking at the amazing scenery. Would highly recommend and it would be ideal to hire all properties for a family gathering. Can't wait to return

The cottages are beautifully situated with good views of the Liverpool Leeds canal and the excellent surrounding countryside.. The interiors have every facility you could want and they have been set up with a sense of luxury. You feel happy and welcome from the moment you step through the door. Could not recommend more highly.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed.. It was lovely to watch the boats go by from the patio or sat in the cosy lounge. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The dogs loved the canalside walks. We had a wonderful holiday. Would recommend this cottage and hope to book again next year.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful spot.. Being located within grounds of a farm makes it very secure. Sitting in the lounge bathed in sunshine drinking tea and looking out at the canal boats slowly passing by is a most restful experience. Skipton itself is a unique shopping experience with so many local retailers and fewer of the ‘nationwide’ lookalike shops. Can not recommend this cottage enough.

Jess Cottage is a great family cottage. Two large en-suites with excellent powerful showers. Easy thermostatic controls so our children could work them on their own. Good size bedrooms. Very clean. Great location on the working farm with sheep and lambs right outside the garden. Fresh eggs available to buy daily! Easy 15-20min walk along the tow path to Skipton. Nice and warm. Will definitely be returning!

A lovely modern cottage, Situated on a working farm with amazing views of the dales. As we were lucky enough to visit in March we were surrounded by sheep and lambs. A short walk along the canal tow path takes you into Skipton, were there is a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a busy market. An ideal base for exploring the dales or just sitting back and enjoying the views.
