A well-equipped, 300 year old farmhouse-cum-large group hiking lodge with walks on the doorstep and a touch of luxury - hotel-style ensuite bedrooms and a private chef and local beer barrel option available.

Please note: the property and surrounding area has no phone signal but there is WiFi at the Lodge. It is only accessible by 4 x 4 from Stonesdale Lane a mile away - we ask that, if in any doubt, guests should check suitability for their vehicle by contacting us prior to booking. Either a narrow bridge (2.1m wide) or ford must be crossed and there is a steep ascent to the house. For guests without a 4 x 4 the owners can collect you from the parking on the lane. You might say it is not for the faint-hearted but you will be rewarded with spectacular views, a wonderful home and incredibly warm hospitality.
