We've been coming to Heyden Cottage for nearly 10 years now and it still holds the same charm for us as it did the first time we came.. We had a couple of issues on the first day but a quick phone call and they were sorted out within 24 hours with a follow up call to make sure everything was ok. That's service! Looking forward to our next visit.

Heyden Cottage is a really great location if you want to be a little bit away from things in the woods.. It's super good for our dogs with beautiful walks just outside the door. I think this is the 5th year we have stayed at this cottage and will certainly return again next year. The cottage is well kept and is as fresh and clean now as the first year we stayed there. It's a home from home for us.

We visited the cottage on a cold week in early March.. Central heating fine, masses of logs for fires, but upstairs bathroom was rather chilly, though downstairs shower room was snug. Otherwise all good.

The cottage is lovely, very peaceful and quiet.. HH were just the booking agent and we had no contact with them in person so can't really comment on that aspect! Angie however is great, there were lovely welcoming & Christmassy touches left for us and she rang us to make sure we were happy in the cottage. It was a fabulous Christmas break in a great cottage - we'd all love to go back!

The cottage owner has it nailed.. The property is lovely. A home from home and the midweek phone call to check everything is ok is great. It was so good I wanted to move in permanently

The premises were very good - very comfortable and spacious and the location was excellent.. The only drawbacks were no phone signal and no tv although we don't watch tv much so it didn't affect us. Definitely recommended.

Amazing cottage, we had a great week.. Everything we needed and more was supplied, really helpful caretaker Angie who was keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Kids loved the garden and surrounding woods which were great to explore. Really homely kitchen with big table and sofa where we spent most of the time when not in the garden. Lounge not so relaxing, not sure why just missing something, so didn't really use it. Loved the welcome info pack owner has a great sense of humour. Would thouroghly recommend especially with children, hardly noticed road, we knew the area well so knew it would be the perfect location for exploring exmoor both by car and from the front door.

My granddaughter said It was like walking into a dream when we arrived at the cottage.. We all loved it there. It was relaxing and peaceful. We would definitely go back. Wish it slept 8 so my son could come as well as my daughter.

This cottage was one of the very best we have stayed in for the following reasons, the secluded setting in it's own grounds, the cleanliness and cosy atmosphere,it was also very well equipped with the bits and pieces that made it areal home from home.. We would also note that Angie the housekeeper was on call to help if needed and obviously keeps the cottage up to a very high standard. We have plans to return!!!Thank you.
