Duhnen Apartment 2

Small, centrally located apartment in the Duhnen holiday complex. The furnishings are rather spartan, but functional; everything is a bit dated. Cold drinks, coffee, ice cream, and small sweets are available for purchase 24/7 in one of the common areas, which we found a positive. We didn't use the on-site sauna, steam room, or fitness center. We would choose this complex again.

The residential complex was in a very good location with short walks to the beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket. Charming, park-like complex in a natural state with a playground, barbecue area, etc. The apartment is rather simply furnished and in average condition. Mold on the bathroom ceiling was removed the following day after we pointed it out. WiFi was barely usable in the apartment, refrigerator very loud (measured at 40 decibels), lots of spiders in the apartment and balcony.

The apartment was clean but the bathroom and living rooms had some black moisture stains. That could be changed.

Everything was there that you need to live, even if it was very cramped. The proximity to the center and the beach is a great advantage. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Everything was fine. A dishwasher would be appropriate.

The whole area is in a very neglected condition and is not recommended. We will not vacation there again. Too bad for so much money. We will also do this to the Galeria group, where we made the booking.

Comments on possible improvements that would have made the holiday even more perfect: Some of the furniture was a bit older and worn. Couch and mattresses were very hard. Toaster was broken.

The apartment as such was fine. But the sofa bed was at best suitable for sleeping but inadequate as a seat. There was no stable backrest and consequently little support when sitting.

The facility is in a very central location. You are very quickly on the beach or in the district of Duhnen. The apartment had everything you need. Our dog has also been a welcome guest. The sofa was a bit small and we found the mattress on the bed a bit too soft. But that's a matter of taste.

Overall, my wife and I spent 14 relaxing days in a beautiful, functionally furnished apartment in Duhnen. The grounds of the holiday complex are in a fantastic location - in a beautiful park, just a few minutes' walk from the town center and the beach. Cleanliness needs improvement - both in the apartment and on the terrace. WiFi was broken and was renewed upon departure.

The bedding was very musty and had yellow stains - wasn't comfortable to sleep on. The third person had to sleep on a sofa bed at ground level. Not very pleasant as couch had lots of yellow stains and carpet didn't smell clean. Other than that the accommodation was fine. The facility needs work on cleanliness - there were also spider nests everywhere. On arrival there was still frikali visible in the toilet.

The apartment corresponds to the description. On site is a good service and extremely friendly staff and owners. The apartment with patio and lawn is very suitable for relaxation and regeneration.

Good accommodation in a central location. The only drawback was that the heating system (in the basement?) was very loud. But we would book again.

Kitchenette not well thought out, coffee maker and toaster cannot be used at the same time. There is no storage space. Kitchen utensils are all available, but using them is often difficult.

Facility is very dog-friendly, but the nearest dog beach is at least 3 km. Unfortunately. Otherwise a nice facility and apartments.

Very clean room always got nice and patient information. The small shopping street invites you to stroll, there are many offers there. The beach is tidy and clean, and people like to go hiking there. This was a successful vacation
