We stayed in the cottage for two weeks. Way beyond our expectations, it was superb in every respect. There was no downside. Sounds limited to birdsong, including cuckoo, the breeze in the beech trees and rushing water of nearby stream. Ideal place for walking. We walked six miles one evening and didn’t see anyone. On other occasions chatted to the sheep farmers, all friendly and helpful. Owners of the cottage a delight to deal with.
