We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs for an additional charge of £20 per dog per booking. And if you want to bring your horse, two stables are available for just £15 per stable per night. Birch Cleave Stable is strictly non-smoking and we do not accept guests under 18 years of age.

Facilities The kitchen area is compact yet well-equipped and includes fridge (with small freezer compartment), dishwasher, instant boiling water tap, washing machine, tumble dryer, and electric oven and hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, cafetière, variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
There is a dining table with seating for 4 between the kitchen and living areas.
The living area has a television with Freesat, and wifi is available throughout the property at no extra cost. An iron and ironing board, and hairdryers are all provided for your convenience.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property and there is a wood-burner in the living room. Logs and kindling provided on request.
Both bedrooms have storage and hanging space and USB charge points. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips.

Nearby is the historic market town of Dulverton, the southern gateway to Exmoor. There are lots to explore including antiques and galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Also worth a visit is Lynton and Lynmouth, the Victorians named these two villages ‘Little Switzerland’, they are situated at the mouth of the River Lyn. From Lynmouth you can access Lynton (the higher of the two villages) either via a Victorian water-powered cliff railway, a foot path, or in the car via the road. You will find traditional fisherman’s cottages, shops and cafes. Along the coast nearby you will find the magnificent rugged setting of the Valley of the Rocks.
