Location The village of Monksilver has it's own pub which also serves food, this is approx 1 mile from Jacobs Pond. There is a village shop, Post Office and pub in the village of Stogumber, which is 2 miles away.
The nearest town is Williton, which is also approx 2 miles from Jacobs Pond. There are two small supermarkets in Williton, a petrol station, cash machines, local restaurants and a couple of take-away outlets, a hardware store, butchers, pharmacy, etc.
Minehead is approximately 11 miles from the property. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrison's are both situated on the outskirts of the town), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town. Taunton is the county town of Somerset and is approximately 15 miles away.
