White Lodge Cottageconsists of a kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, oven, and hob, a utility room with a washing machine, a dining room with seating, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin. There is a bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a garden with outdoor furniture and hot tub as well as off-road parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. White Lodge Cottage is a wonderful escape to North Yorkshire, whatever time of year.

Area
The picturesque village of Scalby lies just 2.5 miles from the seaside resort of Scarborough. The village centre, with its stone cottages and Victorian houses, boasts good facilities, with a pub, two local shops, a quaint tea room, a hairdressers and a beauty salon. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, with thousands of hectares of moors and forest, it makes the perfect place to stay, with numerous public footpaths and the well-known Scalby Beck, which winds its way to the coast. A weekly farmers market is held in the grounds of St. Lawrence’s Church Rooms, selling local produce. With Scarborough on the doorstep, with its fine, sandy beaches, good restaurants and bustling town centre, Scalby provides a lovely retreat after a busy day out!

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
