Brompton is a pretty village on the outskirts of Northallerton; there are bi weekly market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the high street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce.

Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the seaside, a visit to some country houses such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, and Castle Howard, or a round of golf.
