Middleham is famous for its racehorses and several trainers including Mark Johnson are based here. Just a short drive away is Hawes, where guests can visit the Dales Countryside Museum, Jervaulx Abbey, Wensleydale Creamery and Aysgarth Falls and the Forbidden Corner, a four acre garden with a labyrinth of tunnels, follies and other surprises.
