House on a hill in the hamlet of Ruota, the last 100 meters are a narrow unpaved road. The house has a functional, fully equipped kitchen; the only things missing were a coffee maker and kettle. Two bedrooms with somewhat old mattresses. A good bathroom with a wonderful hot tub. The living room has somewhat outdated sofas. Lovely outdoor seating with a parasol. The swimming pool is located a bit further up the mountain, 3 x 6 meters and about 1 meter deep, which is wonderful with four loungers and a parasol. A large supermarket is 7 kilometers away.

The holiday home was very clean, comfortable, and decorated in a charming, rustic style. The pool was clean and cleaned daily. We particularly enjoyed the quiet location with plenty of privacy and a stunning view of the wooded hills. The host was very friendly, even though we barely needed any contact, as everything was perfect. An all-around pleasant stay.

The accommodation was simply a dream with a fantastic view. The location was also so good that we only had to drive 1 hour 15 minutes to get to Siena, Florence and San Giminiano. Lucca and Pisa are 20 minutes away. It also works well with an electric car :)

The depth of the pool is really shallow and considering the rental price, air conditioning or at least one or two fans would have been appreciated.

A beautiful house, clean and excellently and tastefully furnished with everything you need. beautiful garden and views. The owners are kind and accommodating. We were unlucky at the time and it rained, so it was cold in the stone house, but we were saved by the fireplace and the whirlpool bath. The road to the house is a bit bumpy on a narrow winding road, but after two or three trips up you get used to it.

We enjoyed the simplicity and the fantastic location and privacy of the house. Very nice owners who are ready for you if needed. Highly recommended if you are looking for peace in the middle of countless olive trees.
