This grand villa may just be a ten-minute drive from Lucca, but its enchanting gardens will make you feel miles from the city. As you wander through the fenced grounds, you'll encounter shady pergolas, alfresco dining areas, and even a private chapel – the swimming pool is just the cherry on top. Set across three floors, this home boasts a wealth of character, evident in its antique furnishings, exposed wooden beams, and partial wall frescoes. If you need anything during your stay, the owners live just opposite – but with so much space to unwind, you'll enjoy plenty of privacy.

Home truths:
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st May and 15th October. It's unfenced, so if you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there's uncovered parking for up to two cars.
*Your hosts live on the opposite side of the villa. However, they have a separate entrance and garden.
*This home is spread across three floors and has uneven walkways in the garden, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
*There isn't a washing machine here, but there is a 24-hour self-service laundromat just 2 kilometres from the villa.
