The house is beautifully situated between the forest and olive groves. The property is not completely fenced in, however, and you can only really use 200 of the 1000 square meters. The house offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the 2 weeks with our dog."

The accommodation itself is wonderful: for hiking and very close to the city center of Lucca and only a good 30 minutes to the sea. However, the property is not fenced in, as written in another review! You cannot let a dog run around freely there. Given the many mosquitoes in the evening, you cannot sit outside in the evening without being harmed.

The people are all helpful and very friendly.

We have experienced a very relaxing holiday with dog. We had a very nice landlord who received us and instructed us despite language difficulties. There are a lot of hiking tours here. The house is very nicely furnished and offers enough space for 2 people. The outdoor area is very well maintained. The dog can let off steam freely on the fenced area. I can't imagine a better place to stay for a trip with a dog.

We have found a wonderful, clean and comfortable holiday home. All necessary household appliances and utensils were available. Our dog felt very comfortable in the huge and well-kept garden. The landlord was always friendly and accommodating. For the price unbeatable.

We had a wonderful 14-day vacation in a beautiful house, we didn't miss anything, just great. Due to the fenced property, it was a dream for our dogs, we will definitely come more often, many thanks to the courteous landlord mille grazie

The heating only worked between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. So it was cold in the evening. We couldn't open the bedroom window at night because there was a permanent cloaca smell, also outside at the seat. We couldn't receive any German-speaking channels on the TV, but 20 Arabic channels. When I asked the landlord, it was said that it was not his responsibility. After asking again, it was said that something on the satellite dish broke in winter! This is of course not okay and has had a negative impact on our stay. The instruction from the landlord regarding TV and heating was rather poor!

Very quiet and rural location and yet close to all hotspots in Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa, Monte Mantana or the beach below Viareggio. Courteous and very friendly landlord. Since the house is isolated, it is recommended to switch on the in-house alarm system when you are away and at night.
