Authentic house with a beautiful garden, BBQ, and lovely pool in a beautiful setting. Spacious enough for several families. The interior is in need of maintenance, and the outdoor furniture needs to be checked. Bathrooms are prone to flooding, and several are very cramped. The attic room is unsuitable for living in hot weather. Several staircases in and around the house. The caretaker lives next to or above the apartment. Supermarkets, restaurants, and the train station are nearby. A good base for exploring Tuscany.

This is our fourth time here. The house, with its beautiful pool and stunning location, is a wonderful experience every time. The housekeeper, who takes care of the property, is also very helpful.

The house is very beautiful on its own, with a wonderful plot and a magnificent view. However, the interior still needs a lot of improvement/renovation. During heavy rain, water seeps between the windows and the window frames on the weather side, pooling on the floor. In cool weather, the house is very cold and damp. The showers are extremely small, even for slim people, and showering without flooding is impossible. The outdoor seating and the pool are very nice.

The downside to this holiday home is the many stairs, which isn't ideal for older couples or families with babies. The showers are small and only screened off by a shower curtain, so the entire bathroom can easily get flooded. We enjoyed the peace and quiet there and the trip to Florence (easily accessible by train).

We really enjoyed our holiday in this amazing house, but you have to like the authentic Italian country style. There are several lovely terraces. The pool is large and well situated in relation to the house. It is easy to get down to the train and you are in Florence in less than half an hour. Minuses: there are many stairs, there could be one more towel per room. person, and a serviceman lives on the register. He was very discreet, we rarely saw him.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Monteloro. Everything was great and just like the pictures. The hostess was extremely kind and helped us with transportation. The house and the surrounding area was very beautiful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful terraces. We were a group of friends, 11 adults and 1 baby, and we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful old house with the most delicious pool, which was used extensively in the very hot weather with over 40 degrees every day. Beautiful area near a small town with shopping facilities (Coop) and a local restaurant in the middle of town, where we ate delicious and cheap Tuscan food several times. There was also the most delicious ice cream shop on the main street. The house is old and a bit worn but beautiful. There are all facilities. We lacked nothing and had a really nice holiday.

Everything you need, many toilets and showers, the kitchen oven is slow. The outdoor areas are really well maintained and there are four different groups of tables in the yard. The carrying distance, however, accumulated for the goods, as well as four floors of stairs. Suitable for vigorous outdoor enthusiasts, not for families.

The pool was not clean for the first 4 days of our stay. The contact person was 1 hour late in handing over the keys.

Unique place and great views, but the general condition of the apartment is poor. The furniture in the living room and by the pool are old and shabby. Problems with locks, water and toilets. There are no basic supplies in the apartment. Will they all be removed during the final cleaning? (toilet paper, kitchen paper, sugar/salt, detergent, filter paper). The distances stated in the brochure are not correct (e.g. shops and city center). The level classification and pricing are far too high compared to the apartment.

very nice house in overall very good condition. Nice big pool. Professional check-in and check-out. Fully equipped kitchen. Two large terraces with seating for 12 people each. Very nice and helpful housekeeper. All outdoor facilities were also in top condition. 16 kilometers to Florence. An absolute recommendation.

Yes, the basic price should always include an internal temperature of around 20 degrees, the house was freezing cold! Usually the houses have had basic supplies (sugar, salt, coffee filters, etc.), here there was almost nothing. Dinnerware just right for the number of people.

This old countryhouse was a splendid environment for the whole family. All of us enjoyed its history and fantastic overlooks. By two cars we drowe around the cities and paved countryroads through villages. Villa Monteloro is convinient accommodation for everyone. Four floors may cause problems for handicapped. A nice surprise when there was local wine and sparkling wine available in the apartment for €8/bottle. A couple of red ones went home too. It was wonderful when the gardener kept the surroundings and the pool in order every day. There was enough space and plenty of bathrooms for a large group. I could go again. Very friendly key holder. Easy to deal with and got a lot of good tips from him. There are two excellent restaurants in the nearby villages. Train connection and parking 2 km away. Easy to go to Florence.
