Nipping to Capalbio Beach is a cinch here, thanks to a golf buggy waiting at this cottage. It's just one of the many perks of this exclusive beach resort, set on the extensive grounds of a lakeside nature reserve. The kitchen is on the small side for a home of this size, but we can forgive that for the vast dining spaces, both inside and out. Don't fancy cooking? There are beach clubs just a short ride away. For anything else, you'll need to jump in the car. Make the medieval village of Capalbio your first port of call – just a few kilometres away.

Home truths:
*While not all the bathrooms and bedrooms are photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home. The third bedroom sleeps two people, and may either be a double or a twin.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car for ease. There's parking outside of the cottage.
*The cottage has direct access to the beach via a country road. The beach itself isn't private, but it's normally only frequented by guests staying at other homes on this resort.
*The kitchen is on the small side, but it's got all the essentials for whipping up family meals.
