The gorgeous Peak District National Park borders Stocksbridge, a charming market town. The proximity of the M1 means that Sheffield, Leeds, York, and the rest of Yorkshire's spectacular countryside may be easily accessed by lengthy walks, mountain biking, and visits to Hathersage, Bakewell, Edale, and the Ladybower Dam.

Region
The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
