The stairs from the kitchen to sitting room which has a plush sofa and smart TV, and wifi is available throughout.
Follow the ingeniously designed paddle stairs to access the rooftop bedroom, which includes integrated cupboard space. Additionally, there are hanging areas along the side of the stairs for clothing and essentials. Note, the bedroom has low ceilings in places, strategically designed to optimise the space.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips.
Location Exmoor National Park spreads across both West Somerset and North Devon. Often referred to as England's best kept secret, Exmoor is a wonderful holiday destination for anyone looking for a holiday in the great outdoors! There's so much to see and do, from short walks to long expeditions across the moors, wooded valleys or coastal paths. As well as horse riding, taking in a safari or sight-seeing at your own pace around the 'picture postcard' villages and hamlets.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit during your stay including Tarr Steps near Winsford, the popular country towns of Dulverton and South Molton, West Somerset Steam Railway, National Trust properties including Dunster Castle, Arlington Court, Knightshayes and many more. The surfing beaches of North Devon are easily reached and the South West Coastal Path and Coleridge Way.
The Tower is ideally situated to take advantage of all country pursuits a step from the door, in addition the coast to the north is within easy reach and provides a wealth of water sports such as sailing and surfing.
Nearby is the historic market town of Dulverton, the southern gateway to Exmoor. There are lots to explore including antiques and galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Also worth a visit is Lynton and Lynmouth, the Victorians named these two villages ‘Little Switzerland’, they are situated at the mouth of the River Lyn. From Lynmouth you can access Lynton (the higher of the two villages) either via a Victorian water-powered cliff railway, a foot path, or in the car via the road. You will find traditional fisherman’s cottages, shops and cafes. Along the coast nearby you will find the magnificent rugged setting of the Valley of the Rocks.
