With views over the Barle valley, wild red deer grazing from the neighbouring woods and Exmoor ponies in the fields next door it is a wonderful tranquil place to relax. The coast to the North at Porlock and Minehead (with a steam railway) is within a 20min drive with wonderful long sandy beaches to be found further west at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands.
