31 The Wynd is a pristine third floor apartment perfectly located in the delightful town of Amble. The cottage boasts two bedrooms; a king-size double and a twin, and can sleep four people in total. There is also a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a gas stove. Outside is parking and the wonderful town centre nearby. 31 The Wynd is a delightful retreat to be enjoyed by a small family, couples and friends.

Area
The seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. A centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks and boat trips around the island can be arranged. The villages of Alnmouth and Craster and numerous beaches are only a short drive away.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

After a very long journey, it was a pleasure to arrive at such a lovely apartment, and to find that the owner had left some pastries, tea cakes, with milk and bread in the fridge to get the holiday started.. The apartment is in a great location for the local shops, restaurants and local bus services should you need them. There was a very informative note pack for help with white goods and heating in the apartment and lots of information on places to see whilst your there. Loved Northumberland and its pretty villages, has a very wild and natural charm.

Apartment is set in ideal location, amble has good facilities lots of choices on restaurants etc, the apartment was clean, comfortable and everything was there that was possibly needed.. Amble is a good Base for exploring Alnwick, Warkworth. Bamburgh castle, we even had a day in Edinburgh which is a great city the castle is stunning and great for shopping.

We had a fab time, the apartment was great inside but just ok from the front door to our door.. We could not park one night as no spaces left. Inside everything was lovely and didn't lack anything everything was nicely done

The apartment was perfect for our needs.. In a really good location just a stones throw from the shops and restaurants and not too far from the harbour and its little pod shops. The apartment was clean and modern, a lovely basket of goodies were waiting for us on arrival and the cupboard were stocked with basics such as teabags, salt and pepper. The apartment was easy to find, very convenient for trips up and down the coast and is a lovely part of the world to visit for a break. We would definitely recommend a visit to this accommodation.

The apartment very comfortable, well equipped and in a good location for touring Northumberland.. We also enjoyed the ability to have shorter walks into and around Amble. If I wanted to go back to the area I would certainly book this apartment again.

Excellent apartment, well situated in Amble, a very pleasant fishing harbour and seaside community.. The apartment was clean, comfortable, very well equipped and furnished. Dog friendly, helpful owners. Great location for exploring the Northumbrian coast.

Fantastic holiday! ! Beautiful newly renovated, pristine apartment situated in the heart of Amble. Excellent facilities all within a few minutes walking distance, we hardly had to use our car unless we left the town to go exploring castles. Janet is the most welcoming host we've come across, with a welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival, we settled in straight away. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, we visited the itialian and Indian eateries that were recommended in the welcome pack and they didn't disappoint. Both of us and our border collie loved it here. He especially loved the short walk to the beach which is doggy friendly. Will definitely be coming back here in the not too distant future. Thanks again Janet.
