The cottage looked every bit as good as the photos and was very clean. No problem there. However, a toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, a bed head broken, the grill didn't appear to work, a bench was splitting, and the dishwasher wasn't great meaning some of the pots in the cupboard weren't terribly clean. Two days after we left, Sykes informed me that the owner claimed we had ripped the pool table which I strenuously denied. A few days after that Sykes told me a mistake had been made and it was the previous renters who had done the damage and apologised.

The best cottage ive stayed in. When we arrivwd we were greeted by 1 of the lovely owners who talked us through things. The cottage was immaculate and everything down to the finer detail was incredible! The beds were extremely comfortable, to the point where we even checked where the bedding was from. The actual cottage grounds were fenced in which meant we could let the dog out without worrying about him or little ones when they were outside. 8 of us stayed here, 6 adults and 2 children and the cottage was so spacious. The game room was a great extra added feature and the hot tub was immaculate too. The log fire in the living room really give off cosy vibes and we enjoyed chilling in front of it every night. We did use all the fire wood provided but the owner brought us more the next morning. Really enjoyable stay and will certainly be back. Thank you.

Had a lovely stay in this cottage with family over Easter weekend and will definitely be booking again. Was greeted by one of the hosts who showed us round and how to use everything. The cottage was very spacious/spotless and some lovely little touches left from them. (Tea, coffee, milk, bread even Prosecco) The facilities were great and everything you need to keep everyone occupied, the games room is a fantastic extra with everything you need in it. After relaxing in the hot tub the fire in the lounge was lovely to sit around on the evening which logs were also provided by the great hosts. There is also some lovely walks around the area. Would recommend anyone books this place it’s great. Thanks for having us.
