Walkers will want to climb Pen Y Fan the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons (23 miles) or the Sleeping Giant at Cribbath (6 miles). For beach lovers, head to the stunning Gower peninsula and The Mumbles (20 miles) and for children there s the magnificent Dan Yr Ogof Showcaves (9 miles) and the Monkey Sanctuary (7 miles). The waterfall walk at Glynneath, Carreg Cennen Castle at Llandeilo, Margam Park, Craig Y Nos country Park all offer fun for all of the family. Locally you can stroll to the pretty pond near the cottage and enjoy village pubs within walking distance, there s a shop nearby (2 miles). Step inside this romantic cottage, abundant with stylish quirky features and beautiful furnishings. The kitchen has a high vaulted beamed ceiling and a beautiful Travertine tiled floor; it s well equipped with a fine royal blue Rangemaster cooker and beautiful wall tiles in a timber frame, along with the convenience of a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, plus a washer/dryer. Unwind in the stylish living room which features spacious comfortable seating, and a smart TV with Freeview to enjoy after a day of countryside adventures. When night falls, you ll find a double bedroom with an en suite shower room downstairs, and a staircase from the living room up to a galleried area and the second double bedroom with a family bathroom featuring a bath, a separate shower and WC. Outside, you ll find a courtyard garden and lovely rambles through the woodland garden towards meadows beyond. Parking is available for guests.
