Property Description

If you long to spend your holiday gazing out onto undisturbed views of the Tuscan countryside, this might be the home for you. This beautiful traditional villa looks out over Tuscan hills and is only a four-minute drive from the medieval town of Scansano. Here you have peace and quiet with easy access to gelaterias and restaurants – perfetto.

The stone villa sits on acres of lush land, with far-reaching views and the outside space from which to enjoy them. In the morning, get out of bed and head straight outside to dive into the pool. Dry off in the sun before taking a seat on the terrace – that’s where we’d be tucking into a breakfast of local bread and fruit. The terrace is covered, making it the perfect place to dine out of the sun.

This home merges the outside and inside spaces – you’ll find huge windows in the living room that look out onto the gardens and pool, creating an open feel and giving the space plenty of light. This also means that you can admire the countryside views whether you’re swimming in the pool or playing cards inside.

The countryside setting means it’s easy to relax here, far away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns. To take your relaxation to the next level, drive thirty-three minutes to Cascate del Mulino. This thermal spa is a real hidden treasure. On your way back, call in at Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano for a wine tour. This vineyard is just five minutes from the villa and produces the best-loved wine in the region. Pick up a bottle or two to sip on the terrace as the sun sets – it’s the perfect way to end the day.
