Treasure Chest is a child and pet-friendly boutique duplex apartment in the North Yorkshire port of Whitby. Spread over the second and third floors, there are three bedrooms; a super king-size zip/link with an en-suite, a double and a twin zip/link, as well as a family bathroom, the property can sleep six people. It offers a second floor open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area with balcony. There is also designated for one car. Treasure Chest is ideally located for exploring the Whitby and surrounding areas.

Over second and third floors. Three bedrooms: 1 x third-floor super king-size (zip/link, can be twins on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x second-floor twin (zip/link, can be super king-size on request), 1 x second-floor double. Second-floor bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC. Second-floor open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with balcony.

Area
The ancient fishing port of Whitby is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

We have stayed at this property five times to date, the apartment is very well presented, equipped and comfortable, especially the beds. Close to attractions of Whitby. The owners ensure high standards are maintained and the finishes touches that they provide always ensure we have a fabulous stay at The Treasure chest.

Although this was our last trip, we have stayed here 4 times before. Having researched possible alternatives, we have come to the conclusion that there is simply nothing better than this apartment, so we have booked a further 3 holidays this year ! Thank you Treasure Chest, you’re brilliant !

Just back from a long weekend at Treasure Chest after having to cancel twice. Craig and Mandy were so helpful over our difficulties and so flexible with our arrangements. Communication is excellent and Treasure Chest itself is faultless. Spotlessly clean, quality fittings/fixtures and so many extras and thoughtful touches. Location is brilliant too. We will certainly be back.

Just had a week's stay at treasure chest, what a fantastic well equipped apartment, plenty of space, we were rattling around (just the two of us and our dog) great location to town centre (5mins walk) always good to have parking on site (secured too) we were fortunate to have good weather too! certainly would recommend to family and friends, thank you.

Just stayed here for a long weekend. This place is excellent. There were 6 of us and we were all happy with the treasure chest. Loads of little extra touches. We stayed on the top floor. Loads of room up there. Close to everything thing. Nice pub and chippy across the road. Would definitely recommend and return to this property with friends.

The apartment was absolutely stunning, all the decor throughout was done to high standard. All the rooms were beautiful, it was home from home. The owners had thought of everything. The treasure chests for the grown ups and the children were a lovely thought. It was very clean throughout and you wouldn't even think you were allowed dogs in there. Nothing was too much trouble, if you needed to no anything you only had to email/txt the owners and they got straight back to you. It was lovely in the apartment block too. The apartment was near all the amenities so it didn't take long to walk into the town centre or the beach. I would recommend this apartment it was beautiful.
