We loved our stay on the farm, our toddler loved all the animals, tractors and walks through the fields and woods.. The Wagon House is a beautiful building with so many interesting features, with lovely seating areas at the front and back to make the most of the sunshine. We felt that it could do with some new towels and a refresh of the bedding as they seemed a bit dated and let the property down a little.

We were expecting 4 * facilities as quoted on your brochure.. The beds were comfortable & clean and the family very welcoming. However there were very old cobwebs over the ceilings and behind furniture and the windows were very dirty inside and out. The oven and microwave had been cleaned well but when we used them a toxic smell was given off from the cleaning fluids used which made me gag! The bath is impossibly deep to climb in and out and the rugs on the floors have seen better days. Definitely not 4 star accommodation.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing week in this beautiful part of Somerset surrounded by rolling hills .. The accommodation was very comfortable and the bedrooms were cozy and dead quiet. Fantastic deep bath. If we plan another trip to Somerset, Sykes cottage will be our first choice. Thanks so much for a wonderful time. J/L

Owners of the cottage were very friendly and welcoming.. As it's on a working farm, we got to see Lambs being born and even got a cuddle with one! Beautiful surroundings and acres of land to freely roam.
