The Hayloft is a wonderful cottage located in the village of Husthwaite in North Yorkshire. Hosting two bedrooms; a double, and a single, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to three people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area. To the outside is off-road parking, and a patio area with furniture. Resting in a delightful location with pleasant views, The Hayloft is a stunning cottage in a relaxing part of England. Note: Property does not accept infants so only children aged 2 and above allowed.

Two bedrooms: 1 x mezzanine double, 1 x ground floor single. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area.

Area
The village of Husthwaite is a perfect introduction to "Herriot Country", with an old Norman church, many fine old houses and an active village hall hosting many events throughout the year. The nearby White Horse of Kilburn is a prominent local landmark. The market town of Easingwold is nearby, boasting a market square and a selection of shops, pubs and cafes.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Our first holiday with Sykes Cottages.. The welcome we received was so lovely. Welcome basket with fresh bread, cake, tea with milk and water in the fridge. Plus a vase of roses and freesias on the table. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the bathroom was absolutely immaculate. Rob and Sue the owners of the farm were so pleasant and we had many interesting chats. The cottage was well situated for visiting many attractions. We will definitely be coming back. We had such a lovely, relaxing week.

Wow, what a beautiful cottage in a lovely location.. The facilities, furnishings, decoration and cleanliness are top quality. Beautiful bedding, plenty of bath towels, quality toiletries, plenty of tea towels, washing up liquid and cleaning cloths, dishwasher tablets, fresh milk, fresh bread, delicious cake and fresh flowers. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and spotlessly clean, sitting area lovely and cosy with TV, radio, board games, dvd's, books and maps of the area. Having been out all day exploring the area and visiting family in Sunderland it was such a pleasure to return to The Hayloft at the end of a busy day with all our needs catered for. There is literally nothing that is not provided. Sue and Rob made us feel so welcome, we didn't need any assistance from them but they made it perfectly clear that should we need anything just to ask. We loved our stay at this cottage and didn't want to leave, in fact we would happily move in permanently ! Thank you Sue and Rob for providing such a fabulous cottage, enabling us to thoroughly enjoy our stay, we cannot wait to return.

A hidden gem in a great location, furnished to a high modern standard, with none of the chintz that is often found in rental properties.. Warm, comfortable, very clean, well equipped & the welcome basket & vase of fresh flowers are a lovely touch. We enjoyed it that much that we are already planning our return to the Hayloft.

What a hidden gem this cottage is. Just returned from our first visit, and all I can say is that it won't be our last. It's furnished to a high standard, in a nice modern way, without the 'chintz' you normally associate with a rental property. On arrival we had a welcome basket, milk & a vase of fresh flowers left for us, which is a lovely touch. It's in a great location with loads to do within an hour's drive.

Very clean and well thought out holiday cottage.. Every thing you need is there. Lovely patio area with garden furniture to relax. In a good quiet location and not far to travel to explore the area. Owners very friendly and supplied a welcome pack on arrival. Would certainly recommend cottage.

The Hey loft cottage was beautiful.. The interior design of this cottage was stunning and brand new. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything you could possibly need.It was open plan into the lounge area which was very cosy with a good size TV. Our bedroom was also very comfortable and the shower was a good size. The Hey Loft is located in beautiful country surroundings with many lovely places to visit within short driving distance which we enjoyed visiting. Bob & Sue were perfect hosts and they were always around when needed. Anthony and I will be returning for another weekend break in the near future. Gloria & Anthony
