Great cottage and we'll equiet kitchen.. Owners on hand if needed for advice but not intrusive. Nice peaceful location with viewsome accross the countryside and down to the sea. Nice to see the animals around the place. Though it was very windy during our stay the cottage was warm and we'll presented. Whitby, Scarborough, the North Yorkshire Moors and Robin Hoods Bay were all within easy drives. Very enjoyable and relaxing week with plenty of nice local pubs serving good food. Thanks to Ben and Wendy for all the tips and supplies of wood for the burner, just take plenty of change for the abundance of parking metres in all tourist locations!

Lovely young couple working hard to make a success of their venture! Even with the poor weather at the beginning of our stay the cottage was a cosy place to be with a number of good eating places close by and an excellent position for coastal and inland visits. Would certainly return and try out the lovely new cottage which is nearing completion.

Lovely cottage and owners the only issue I have is that the postcode takes you to another farm down a dirt track and you then have to reverse all the way back up.. It’s a few more yards down the road to what the postcode and directions tell you. Overall the cottage was lovely and clean in a lovely location and ideal 15-20 minutes drive into Whitby :-) cloughton is also not far away and this has some lovely friendly village pubs. Lovely log fire would highly recommend

The location of "The Stable" was ideally placed if you wished to travel around and explore that area of Yorkshire, being equally placed between Whitby and Scarborough, and being but a stone's throw from the dramatic and remote moorland of NE Yorkshire..
