There is no downstairs cloakroom which wasn’t an issue but description needs upgrading.. Lovely house and location - think it may be the friendliest place - everyone we met was friendly

Enjoyed our week.. Nice, convenient location. Parking outside. Good sized cottage for the five of us and a dog. Warm and cosy, lovely bathroom. Well equipped. Would recommend. The only negative is there is building work going on next door and the banging, drilling etc starts at 8am in a morning, which we did not appreciate.

The holiday house was extremely comfortable and was in an excellent position.. The house was very clean and comfortable, it was lovely to have a log burner. We would definitely book this accommodation again.

Seascape is over all a very nice place to stay. This cottage is obviously looked after by a cleaning company , not the owner. It's the little things No kitchen paper No condiments in the cupboard No hand soap No toilet cleaner Candle lighters for fire and stove , both out of lighter fluid ,and no top up canister. The heating system is preset with a phone number for advice if not to your liking. That's fine if you are out all day but some people are not. The kitchen stove is great range cooker, but not enough dishes trays casserole dishes to take advantage of it. May be the owner will take some of this on board . Then your ratings will go up.

Amble is great for walking the dogs, and the cottage was only a couple of minutes away from the beach which is great. However, we were disappointed to find no downstairs loo as advertised at the time we booked - a bit awkward with 5 people. The mattress was very uncomfortable on the double bed in the main front bedroom, and nets are needed at all the main windows to offer a bit of privacy, plus a blind in the bathroom. The bathroom could also benefit from some hooks to hang clothes/towels, and a shelf over the bath, or an endtable, just to put toiletries, as there is currently nowhere to put anything when you use the bath. Apart from this, the house was warm and spacious and in a great location for exploring Northumbria. We would possibly visit again if these things were addressed.

The property no longer has a downstairs toilet even though it was still advertised as such when we booked.. This was problematic at times for 5 of us. The pillows on the beds were heavily stained and flat as pancakes, and the mattress on the double bed in the main front bedroom was MASSIVELY uncomfortable, resulting in a poor week's sleep, and aching backs for two of us. Also, privacy was an issue as none of the windows had any kind of nets or voile, and the bathroom window needs a roller blind. The bathroom could also benefit from some hooks to hang clothes whilst bathing, and a shelf or end table next to the roll-top bath, as there is nowhere to put any toiletries.

We have just got home from a wonderful stay at this amazing place. Two adults, one child and one dog. Amble is a beautiful area with fantastic amenities for all of your needs. Amazing chip shops are near and bistros galore in the center of Amble. The accommodation itself is fantastic , clean , spacious and the bathroom (wow!) Rolltop bath , rainforest shower that is hot and revitalizing. Sky TV with sky sports is provided with very fast wifi broadband so on those rainy days you are still entertained. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is a good size with all the required equipment and I had no trouble with a leaking washing machine or broken toilet as mentioned by the previous reviewer. The place was spotless with no dog smell at all and the log burner stove is fantastic on colder days. The location of the cottage is right by the sea with great views and a lovely green to the front with a very nice kids park. I have stopped in both of the Lerner's properties now and thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! I would highly recommend this place to stay whilst in Northumberland. I have included some of the views you will sea whilst stopping here.

On arrival at Seascape we were met by a blocked toilet, a leaking sink, an upstairs tap with lime scale so thick two of us cut our fingers simply turning on the tap! The washing machine also emptied across the floor when used! The plumbing issues were known to the owner who failed to make sure the work was completed before our arrival. The Sykes representative also failed to return a call with an updated time for the plumber to call. No plumber came at all during our stay! We only had one toilet despite booking a property with two as it’s an important facility for us! Extremely disappointed!

Just home after a glorious week in Amble, staying at Seascape. 6 of us plus the dog all fitted in well in this delightful cottage. Comfortable, clean, well equipped, everything you need to enjoy your break. Amble and surrounding area is just great and we were blessed with fantastic weather. All in all a wonderful holiday - highly recommended.

Nice Cottage and good location, a little too cluttered with bric a brac, lounge quite dated now and a lot smaller than pictures show, beds comfortable, bathroom lovely and kitchen was good.. Shops and pubs within a few minutes walk as was the beach which our dogs loved.

Only disappointment was thick dog hair on lounge carpet.. At first I thought cleaners had been remiss, but on trying out the vacuum for myself, I realised it was very poor. I left a note to that effect and assume the owner will repair or replace it. I'm happy to publish positive feedback but would like the owner to have the opportunity to rectify the issue about the vacuum.

Seascape is a lovely roomy cottage overlooking the sea.. It is very cosy, with a wood burning stove, lovely big kitchen diner, with everything you need for eating in and it's pet friendly too!. Amble is a lovely friendly fishing village with lots of nice places to dine out near by. The beaches along that coast are fabulous. The dogs loved it! Will definitely be back.

My sister and I and two small dogs stayed here. It is a great location. Over the green to a little rocky beach. Everything is so near at hand, in Amble, and the people are so welcoming. The house is perfect, and I lit the wood burning stove. There is a swimming pool, on the caravan park, and a restaurant. The bus goes to Newcastle. Car boot sale, on a Saturday, and a food market, on a Sunday, on the harbour side. Loads of fish and chip shops, and cafes and restaurants. Tesco, Coop, and Heron Foods, for groceries. This house is so popular, that we could not get in, this year, but we are going to their smaller property, in Amble, instead. I cannot wait to return to the area.
