Spent two weeks in mid August here, first the positives.... the location is brilliant, easy access to the beach via the car park of the Seagull just around the corner, easy walk to Brean Leisure and splash park, pretty quiet even though it is directly opposite the entrance to Pontins. Unfortunately everything else about the accommodation was a real let down. It was filthy. To say that we had a later check in time due to allow for more cleaning to be done was a joke. The dust was thick everywhere. A used tissue, dental floss stick and finger nail residing in the additional bedding in the bed settee. Black mold adorned the bottom of the shower curtain. Blocked sink meant a flood which found its way into the accommodation downstairs. The shower curtain pole falls down if you close the curtain too quickly No blind in the bathroom - the broken fixings are there, just no blind. Kitchen was, well 'sticky' - rusty cheese grater, toaster, microwave, Don't look at the double mattress until you leave....ignorance is most certainly bliss! The bathroom installed is not the bathroom pictured, there is gap between then end of the bath and the wall - don't drop anything down there, The fan in the lounge, the blades are black with dirt and dust we didn't dare turn it on. What is really annoying is that with a little bit of decorating and a good clean it could be ideal. But reading the other reviews is seems we are not the first.

The location couldn’t be better as it’s a fantastic area with plenty to visit .the apparent was quite dirty and we had photo proof , the bathroom and bedrooms were the only areas that looked to be cleaned unfortunately didn’t notice the manky double bed mattress until we stripped bedding ,to say we are in middle of a pandemic , the kitchen hasn’t seen a good clean for a while or the living room , a new bath has been fitted at quite a height and no anti slip mat or grab bar , so risky getting out of shower , shower curtain needs replacing black mildew . Hot water needed turning down as it was set at max which could have been serious burns had we not checked (should be regulated) .flooring noisy , decor very tired , not worth the money .

We usually stay at pontins when we visit brean but we thought we would try somewhere different this year.. We were really happy with our stay and would definitely return to your accommodation on future holidays to brean

My hubby and I booked this flat as a last min break. We spent 2 hours cleaning the flat before we could feel comfortable. Mould around the bath. The bath panel falling off. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty. The toaster was rusty! One of the windows wouldnt close! And the front door not secure at all. No preparation was done in light of covid compared to other holiday lets.. Save your money and book elsewhere!

The apartment is in a prime location in Brean with all amenities within waking distance car parking is directly in front of the apartment and bays are large.. The neighbor below is friendly and helpful. The apartment still needs basic improvements carried out but these are all cosmetic and didn't detract from a very enjoyable holiday in some very hot temperatures . The entrance to the beech is close and in easy walking distance . The only negatives would be the bath as there is not enough hot water in the system to have a bath but can be overcome by filling the bath via the large shower head and as a suggestion it would be good to notify the occupants about the dates the window cleaner is due as both my grand daughter and daughter were woken up and frightened by the window being hit with the brush being used to close the window. This was our second successive year we have stayed here and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our holiday as the accommodation was close by to shops, restaurant, bars and the beach.. Furthermore, it was only a short drive to other towns such as, Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Wells and Cheddar, all of which made amazing, and memorable days out.

The floor boarding it is so noisy.. You feel sorry for the people in the flat below. The blinds and curtain rails repaired with silver foil and sticky tape isn't a good look either. Apart from the above we had a good holiday. I would definitely go back.

There were a few issues that we had with the property.. We found that we had to do a bit of cleaning, there was no blind in the kitchen, and the walls/floors are very thin. I could hear the gentleman in the apartment downstairs snoring all night! The property is also non-smoking but is directly opposite an apartment that is, so there is a strong smell when entering the building. There was limited hot water, so didn't last two showers or one bath. However, the heating was brilliant; the beach was very close by and easily accessible; and it was in a good location.

We were disappointed in the area we were staying in.. We didn't expect bars instead of pubs which were noisy and off putting. The beach was near like described but there were notices along the beach warning of sinking sand!. The main road was dirty and full of rubbish. The flat was warm and cosy and had everything we needed but it was noisy in the evenings with residents and visitors banging doors. Additionally, the first twoman mornings of our stay we were awoken by workmen fitting new windows in the flat below us.

The only problem with the flat was that it was not very clean! We had to clean everything in the cupboards as well as the cupboards themselves!! There were dogs in the accommodation before us and there were dog hairs everywhere!! So we had to clean the living room as well!! Apart from that everything else was ok except for the broken bathroom door handle!!!

I booked this holiday as the accommodation accepted pets, this was meant to be a pet friendly location, however the resident below our apartment made it clear as soon as we arrived that he strongly disliked dogs and he made out entire stay very uncomfortable and became very rude and unfriendly which resulted in my family returning home a day early, we were there to celebrate my fathers 65th birthday which was cut short, this was certainly not a pet friendly holiday, very much the opposite..

This first floor flat is clean comfortable and well stocked,it is well situated for exploring Cheddar Gorge,Glastonbury and is about an hour and half from longleat, there is a huge sandy beach within a couple of minutes walk with amusements cafe`s and restaurants on the doorstep and yet still surprisingly quiet with so much going on nearby..
