Stayed at NO. 16. Absolutely disgusting. We tried to stick it out but after a few days we couldn't carry on with it. We contacted Skyee Cottage to be helped but sadley have received little support.. Advised after we left that the carpets and sofa are going to be replaced on the 20th June 2024. Overall... Cons. 1. Decore is very tired. 2. Carpets are soiled with heavy stains. 3. Sofa and chairs are rancid. Absolutely disgusting. Made us feel itchy and uncomfortable with the state of the place. Found dirt and food benind sofa. Kitchen draws had crumbs and dirt. Windows were filthy and full of cobwebs. Thick Dirt and dust behind and under beds. Never complained about a holiday before but this was a joke. Had to wash our cloths when we got out. Pros. Mattress was dirty but not stained. Very hard but not a problem. Room sizes were ok as well. The Site was us ok for us. Staff were very friendly. Pool was ok. And we liked the table tennis and ping pong. Parking for 1 car.. Decking area was nice. Kitchen has what you need. (Tiles are gruby tho). Please check the standard of no. 16 Savita Cottage before going. Ensure the upgrades have happened. It's no joke. It's terrible. I don't consider myself to be fussy. But it was awful especially for the price. As it stands we are awaiting some sort of resolution. But to be honest I'm not holding out much hope. As we just keep getting told the owner will be spoken to and then we'll get an update. As of close of business today we have had nothing...5 days and counting.

Whats really sad about this is you know there's no point in complaining from my own experience of being barked at by the sargent major/staff and the reviews iv read your only going to get the same generic response sorry for your dissapointed we hope to see you again from the delightful lady that responds to these reviews who knows what these customers are getting is not what they payed for but there's a snowballs chance in hell of anybdy getting a refund at best this lodge is false advertising personally i think its theft! We were mislead into thinking we were going to a luxury lodge the pictures speak for themselfs we have stayed at several lodges over the years dunkeld, duchally, glen eagles several lodges and holiday homes in and around auchterarder because for health reasons we cant go abroad iv never complained never felt the need to but other potential holidaymakers need to know what there in for at lodge number 16 the pool water in the small pool is green! And mouldy the pool floor is peeling and sticks to your feet the water is freezing and the fumes from the amount of chlorine would burn your eyes my 8 year old and my partner came home with bright red eyes after the first visit i hesitantly let her go back to the pool the second day and she said hurself after the second visit it was disgusting and hurt her eyes its a bad day when your booked for the September weekend and ur 8 year old is asking to go home on the Saturday night we could have stayed till tue morning but left on the mon morning we stayed as long as we could for the sake of having some sort of holiday but we all wanted home for the sake of sleeping on a bed that dosent hurt your hip its that hard expecting a 75 year old to sleep on a bed thats the equivalent to sleeping on the floor was to much of an ask after 3 nights givin the age and health conditions already mentioned this could easily be our last family holiday im so regretful we dident look further into the reviews we would have booked elsewhere

The cottage was in a really lovely position within the complex, right in the bottom corner.. We would certainly stay again. The facilities on site looked good, although we didn't use the leisure complex. The reception staff were very polite and helpful too. We had a problem with the plug in the bath -it had obviously been broken sometime with the previous guests and the cleaners hadn't reported it. We reported it to reception on the Sunday morning and it had been fixed before we arrived back at the lodge-excellent service! The only negative comment about the cottage was that the cleaning on changeover day could be improved slightly and the windows hadn't been cleaned inside for a while/skirting boards in some areas were dusty.

Had booked this lodge for my disabled son and 2 of his carers the lodge itself was good for his needs but extremely disappointed to find clubhouse and restaurant shut down.. This was one of the main reasons for booking ,so that my son could go out for meals within vicinity without having to travel. This resulted in staff having to shop and cook rather than eating out. I feel the advert should have been changed and updated. As you will realise it is extremely hard to find the right accommodation and facilities for him and spent a lot of time making sure I got it right which unfortunately did not happen.

What an amazing cottage.. It was the first time 6 of us had been away. Wow - the cleanliness was amazing and the site great for children with a play area, pool and indoor sports - pool and table tennis. Amazing views - truly a lovely place.

Four adults and a 2 year old visited for five days, having a great time in the pool, sauna, cottage and restaurant. Lots of walks in the area and great scenery by car. The place was clean and friendly and we will consider it again in the future.
