Size was better than expected, most facilities were also better.. Beds a bit soft and bathroom a bit tired, but generally very nice. Would stay again.

Very nice accommodation that is ideally situated within the town.. To be fair it is a great place to base yourself for exploring the beautiful countryside nearby. The cafe across the road does the best bacon rolls ever. Best of all about the Brewery location is that some of the most lovely walks are a stones throw away really enjoyed the walks we had with the dogs.

Lovely cottage.. Nice touches with wine and shortbread. Bed huge and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen although would have liked dishwasher. Only down side was builder waking us up at 7am every morning getting van out of yard then emptying rubbish outside bedroom window. Would still return though.

The Old Brewery cottage exceeded our expectations.. The cottage had everything we needed and we were provided with fresh milk, shortbread and wine on arrival. This place is spotlessly clean and the furnishings are so comfortable particularly the queen size bed. The owner is so friendly and available at all times if needed. We will certainly return to this little peaceful haven in the charming Gatehouse of Fleet.

Holiday home lovely, clean and well equipt.. It's just neighbouring tradesmen wake you up every weekday morning at 740am, opening adjacent big gates on rollers, very noisy and isn't great for a relaxing holiday.

There is a garage next to the cottage which opens at 8.. As the bedroom was on the ground floor it was a bit of a rude awakening. The cottage itself was lovely and clean and the owner had even left a bottle of wine and shortbread for our arrival which was a lovely touch.

This is an excellent holiday cottage which is really well equipped.. It works really well for a couple or small family. It has excellent storage and has been really well thought out. The sofa bed in the lounge is very comfortable and easy to use. The owner had left lots of nice touches like wine, shortbread and fresh flowers. The owner is nearby and provides a lovely welcome and has lots of useful local information. The house is very central. Directly across the road is a lovely café and shop behind which is the local spar. Although no garden there is green space at the river, woodland walks and the local park are only a couple of minutes walk away. If you are here with kids then the Cream of Galloway outdoor play centre, Laggan Outdoor Centre and a range of pretty beaches are all within a short drive. We had a brilliant week and would definitely book again.

We would strongly recommend the old brewery store, lovely and clean quirky because the living room and kitchen are upstairs and the bedroom and bathroom are downstairs! Spacious accommodation and everything you need to have a wonderful holiday A bottle of wine, milk and shortbread biscuits, which was very nice gesture, on arrival. Owners made us feel welcome and were very helpful. We will be back Joan!!! Regards Bernadette and Paul Bentham

The cottage was just we wanted close to shops, walks and places to eat.. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived to show us round the property and explain things - it was also very nice and thoughtful to find milk and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The accommodation is small but excellently fitted out with everything we needed. We had to park on the main road but never had any problem parking just around the corner. Would certainly use the property again if going to Dumfries and Galloway as it is very well situated for exploring there.

It is ideally situated for exploring the whole of Dumfries & Galloway, an area that we thoroughly enjoyed.

This property was easy to locate and we were met by a very friendly and helpful "landlady". The property is small, well-maintained and very cosy. Although very small, Gatehouse of Fleet is quite a busy little place and in a beautiful setting. It is ideal for exploring the stunning countryside and coast around this part of Scotland.
