Rose Cottage is a charming stone-built retreat situated near the village of Alnmouth in Northumberland. Hosting one double bedroom and a single bedroom, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to three people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area and electric fire. To the outside is roadside parking, additional parking available at pub by arrangement, and an enclosed patio garden with furniture. Situated in a lovely location with places of interest close by, Rose Cottage is a heart-warming accommodation in a memorable part of England.

Area
The village of Alnmouth is a favourite destination for golfing and fishing enthusiasts, as the area boasts a links course and several fine rivers. There are also miles of sandy beaches featuring the Northumbrian sand dunes. Alnmouth is situated between the River Aln and the North Sea, and was at one time the port for Alnwick. Besides a wealth of natural beauty, the village offers a number of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Lesbury seems a lovely village close to Alnmouth. The cottage was a great release after easing restrictions and we had really missed “seeing the sea”. Place was immaculate, a lot of love and attention has gone into this place. Very clean and stylish. A lovely courtyard at the back allowed us to just chill out and enjoy the late afternoon sun. We also had a great day up at Seahouses for the Farne Islands boat trip - puffins, seals, kittiwakes etc. Stunning scenery around this coast. You can walk to the coast at Alnmouth straight from the door, the beach is lovely, wasn’t busy, families, friends and locals enjoying the sea air. Loads of other places to visit from here. Pleased the little shop in Lesbury is still open. The owners are very attentive but not intrusive at all. Thank you :)

Rose Cottage is beautifully appointed with everything provided for a truly ‘home from home’ experience. The host is very attentive to ensure you have everything you need, without being instrusive. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Rose Cottage is well positioned; situated in a small country village, with easy access to the pretty coastal village of Alnmouth, as well as an easy drive to good supermarkets and amenities in Alnwick. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Rose cottage was delightful, set in a quiet and pretty village.. The location, next to the village pub in Lesbur, was a huge bonus offering very good pub food, with friendly staff and locals. The surrounding area has so many things to see and do and excellent restaurants. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.

The cottage owner was very warm and welcoming ensuring we had a very enjoyable holiday.. The owner made early contact to seek our needs for our stay. She also provided a lovely bowl of fruit, wine etc. over and above our expectations, and took the trouble to check after our return, to ensure our stay was satisfactory and enjoyable. The facilities at the cottage were exceptional. We enjoyed our time at Rose Cottage and would recommend it to other holiday makers as a convenient base for the many tourist attractions in the area.

The cottage was lovely, well equipped and comfortable.. Probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Sue was extremely helpful and welcoming with special little touches, goodies and lots of information about the local area. Excellent location for walking and visiting Northumberland.

Great accommodation, probably the best in which we've stayed.. Clean,comfortable & tastefully decorated. All needs catered for and lots of goodies waiting for us on our arrival ! The owners, Sue & Dean certainly go the extra mile. A week not really long enough to explore this lovely part of the world.

We found Rose Cottage to be very well presented.. It was very comfortable had everything we needed (including little things like hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom). The location is great for exploring this beautiful part of the world. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This a very comfortable and well equipped cottage.. The location is excellent...you can walk to Alnmouth easily and there are fantastic walks in the area close by. The living room in the cottage is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need.....we were very pleased with the welcome pack left by the owner for us.There is a nice back garden with a table and chairs. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The broadband works well and the tv reception is good. There is parking outside the cottage and there is a pub nearby. It is very quiet at night. All in all, a very good place to stay to enjoy all that Northumberland has to offer.

This is a very well appointed cottage, comfortable, everything you need, the owner left a great welcome pack.. The cottage is well located in a little village next door but one to the pub. There is also a very pleasant half hour safe walk down into Alnmouth with a massive selection of tea shops, pubs, cafes and hotels and beautiful sand dunes and views.

Beautiful cottage, stylishly renovated and refurbished.. We loved it. So many little extras and a great welcoming pack of local produce. Sue provided a wealth of useful information on places to visit and restaurants to try. All of which were spot on. Lesbury is the perfect picture postcard village with a great foodie pub next door but one to the cottage! A wonderful week!

Lesbury is a lovely unspoilt village, with a super inn for food and drinks, one door away from the cottage which is perhaps a little too convenient!! There is little post office with lots of lovely 'bits' to tempt you and the essential morning papers and fresh milk. The cottage really could not be any better, immaculate and tastefully decorated, Sue really has thought of everything. The village is so well situated for all destinations on the Northumberland coast so everywhere is reachable. Would love to return one day
