Bordering a cobbled square where São Pedro de Penaferrim church sits a stone's throw away, this home with a small laptop-friendly workspace is perfect for business or leisure. Though we think it could do with a little more natural light and taller guests might not get along with the low sloped ceilings of the mezzanine, the rustic decor creates a homely atmosphere. And if you do need a little fresh air, you can slip out to enjoy drinks on the porch. As for location, you'll find several landmarks nearby, including Palacio da Pena a short walk away.

*The second bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below where you'll find another bed, so privacy is limited.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*As there are stairs to climb here, it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's on-street parking here.
*While we like the overall design of this home, it is lacking in natural light.
*Hen and stag parties are strictly not allowed at this home. Your host asks that you please respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
