The beautiful old town and marina in Cascais are both a twenty-minute walk away from this studio apartment. We can see why this place was once favoured as a retreat for Portuguese royals. The imposing Palace of Cascais Citadel is now a museum and is well worth a look around. There are an array of restaurants and bars nearby too which is fortunate as this studio apartment’s kitchenette is quite basic – still, it has a mini-fridge, microwave and hob, so you can make light meals. Afterwards, relax on the private balcony with a glass of wine and take in the views over Cascais.

*There is limited storage space here, so maybe pack lightly.
*There's no free parking at this home, but you can pay to use the nearby public car park. If you want to go further afield, Cascais train station is just a five-minute ride away.
